The Desk is where the operational layer lives. Six scheduled tasks run on a fixed cadence — 4 PM Tomorrow Board, 6:30 AM Morning Lock, 8:45 AM Federal Register PI scan, 6:30 PM Evening Close, 11:30 PM Overnight Desk delta, and the Monday 9 AM Weekly Accountability Sweep. Each one captures something specific from the public schedule and writes it to disk.
This is what feeds the Briefs. It is not the Brief. The Brief is the editorial product extracted from this raw stream. The Desk shows the stream itself.
The Desk is not a Brief. The Brief synthesizes; the Desk captures. A typical Tomorrow Board contains 40-80 line items across federal, state, and county layers, with gravity scores and cross-state convergence flags. A Brief picks one of those items and turns it into a story. Both are public-source, but only the Brief has a voice.

The Desk publishes through three distinct surfaces. The Journal is the reader-facing zine that renders the overnight cycle as a designed artifact. The Sealed Calendar is the forward watchlist of court-sealed material scheduled to become public. The Archive is the raw dated artifacts the scheduled tasks write to disk. All three are public-source.
The Infera Desk Journal
The living mixed-media board. The overnight desk cycle rendered as a zine: featured case files, background-radiation thread strip, deadline ledger, confidence labels per claim. Updated each cycle. The only Desk surface with a voice.
The PA Sealed Calendar
Every protective-order sunset, statutory unsealing date, gag-order expiration, and phased settlement disclosure across EDPA, WDPA, the Third Circuit, and PA bankruptcy courts in the next 90 days. The premise: most seals have a structure, and the structure is usually public, even when the sealed content is not. Powered by infera-sealed-document-watcher. Reading the schedule is the story before the story.
THE ARCHIVE · DATED ARTIFACTS
Raw outputs land in dated artifacts: tomorrow-board-YYYY-MM-DD.{csv,md}, overnight-delta-YYYY-MM-DD.md, evening-close-YYYY-MM-DD.md, weekly-accountability-sweep-YYYY-MM-DD.md. The archive is permanent. Most artifacts do not get promoted to the Journal; the archive is the point.
Raw archive rendering on this page is provisional. The scheduled tasks write to /_boards/, /_desk/, and /_weekly/ on the production server. A subsequent batch will surface a date-picker here that lets readers pull any past day's Desk artifacts. For now: the Journal is the canonical reader-facing artifact, and the Briefs are the synthesized editorial output.
